When Gurus Get It Wrong

This article provides some cautionary tales surrounding some of the most celebrated gurus. In showing how they went wrong I underline how important it is to understand the specific characteristics of a particular industry when introducing new management concepts. And since the industry I really know most about is pharmaceuticals, that’s what I focus on here.
