The majority of our courses are now being offered as online webinars. The exact format will depend on the nature of the course and the number of attendees, but during the course, you will be able to see and interact with the presenters and their presentations, ask questions, and chat online to other attendees to the webinar.

Our live online training opens up new learning possibilities for those previously unable to travel to training venues to sharpen skills, understand and apply new legislation, implement new methods and approaches and stay at the forefront of their profession. Across all our proven subject areas, our online training equips attendees with the latest knowledge and best practice in their chosen area. With travel times and accommodation costs removed this opens up the potential of attending additional courses – many of our live online training courses run back to back with closely related topics to help deepen or widen your knowledge further.

The online training process

  1. Enrolment on live online training course.
    • Select your training course using our calendar or browsing our subject areas.
    • In the booking section of each page, you’ll see the course dates listed, with the webinar format indicated.
    • Select the date that works for you and checkout as usual. Once we have received your enrolment, your course is confirmed (subject to receiving payment before the course date).
  2. Course Delivery.
    • You’ll be attending one of our courses in real time, in one of the best seats in the house, from the comfort of your office. A week before the course begins we will issue a timetable to help keep track of when each module and day of training begins, so you can be sure you’re on top of developments.
    • From the moment you log in to our webinar platform you will be able to see both presenter and presentation, and interact with other attendees. This means you’ll be able to fully participate with the training day, getting the most out of group activities, individual Q&As. You will be able to see, hear and interact with the presenters and their presentations, ask questions, and chat online to other attendees to the webinar.
  3. Post-Course Support
    • As with the in-person version of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance to attach to your CPD log and contribute to your annual hourly requirements.

Requirements for attending a webinar

  • Our webinar courses are entirely browser-based and should require no download, but please ensure you have the latest updates to your OS and web browser.
  • For the optimal live streaming training experience we recommend using a laptop/desktop computer. You will need a reliable internet connection and speakers or headphones to hear the presentation.
  • Some courses invite audio questions and interaction with other participants, so a microphone and camera are also recommended. A headset can improve the quality of sound, but your built-in speakers and microphone will also work.
