Mental Resilience in a Home-working Environment Training Course: live webinar

This programme will help you consider why a positive attitude is the key to home working and encourage you to develop disciplines for maximising the effectiveness of home working. You'll learn how to overcome issues of loneliness and isolation, develop coping strategies for maintaining self-confidence and self-worth and learn how to achieve and maintain a work/life balance when working remotely.

This is an interactive online course consisting of 2 x 90 minutes sessions.

Overview

Human beings are social creatures.

As many are required to work from home they will be deprived of daily face- to- face interaction. This may be cost-effective, environmentally friendly and COVID- resistant, but it brings a wide variety of mental well-being challenges.

This workshop will look at techniques drawn from mindfulness, stoicism, and stress management

By the end of the course you will have:

  • Considered how mindfulness and stoicism can help manage loneliness and confidence in a home working environment
  • Acquired hints and tips on how to build and maintain a positive attitude
  • Analysed the attributes needed for self-motivation and self-worth
  • Developed strategies and disciplines for achieving a healthy work/life balance

This online workshop is for anyone who works from home and finds it difficult to maintain their mental well-being. It is especially useful for those who have recently moved to home working and are concerned about the challenges such a change will bring.

Expert Trainer

Geoff Marsh

Geoff has been an international trainer, coach and presenter for more than three decades. He began as a presenter on the Lloyds Bank customer first events in 1986. As a trainer and presenter he has been involved with management training for organisations across the globe including delivering courses in Hong Kong, Singapore, USA, Dubai and many others. He has published several books including A Sixty Minute Guide To Powerful Presentations. He is a full member of the actor’s union Equity and has been a professional performer on stage, television and radio.
